installed a bird net over the entire garden, with a metal fence frame around the plot. will leave it until the beans are mature enough not to get eaten by birds. installed the timer, it will come on from 10am until 11am, and 4pm until 5pm. it will come on for 2 minutes at a time, and off for 10 minutes.

installed a drip system with an 8 port adjustible manifold. this makes it possible to adjust how hard each sprayer is spraying/bubbling. did 8 of them, 4 in plot A, 4 in plot B. also bought an automatic timer, but haven't figured it out or installed it yet.
planted carrots and chives interspersed in plot A, as well as some more onions. tried to plant wherever i saw weeds grow.
fertilised, then planted cucumbers and bean seeds in plot B, and erected 2 large lattices (4' wide by about 5' tall).

double dug plot C, and shaped plot B. built 2/3 of the modular compost heap. planted 15 more spinach, and have 8 cucumbers ready to transplant.
to do:
o build rest of compost bin (with lid)
o build lattice for beans
o fertilise plot B
o plant beans and cucumbers
o weed/dig plot D, shape plot C
o come up with watering system
